Florida State received a national letter of intent from highly-touted “athlete” Christian Green on Wednesday afternoon.
Rivals considers Green the No. 61 overall player in the country and a four-star prospect. Listed at 6-foot-0 and 200 pounds, Green’s most likely position in college is wide receiver. He is considered a redshirt candidate in 2010, however, because he played quarterback at Tampa Catholic.
The Seminoles’ 2010 class is littered with big names. All in all, Rivals has credited Jimbo Fisher with a whopping eight four-star recruits, including Green. Fisher secured two of the five-star variety: linebacker Christian Jones and running back Lamarcus Joyner.
Rivals also ranks FSU’s group as tenth-best in the nation.
