The younger Rodgers has committed to play for Randy Shannon’s Miami Hurricanes via a national letter of intent.

Rodgers is a three-start recruit according to Rivals.  He goes 6-foot-2, 185 and has been clocked at 4.45 in the forty-yard dash.  Rodgers was a cornerback at well-known Carroll High in Southlake, Texas.

He also possesses the length to play safety if the ‘Canes ultimately determine more help is needed there.
