Hurricanes land son of Miami Dolphins line coach

Kacy Rodgers is the Dolphins’ defensive line coach. His son, also named Kacy, will be playing football nearby for the foreseeable future.

The younger Rodgers has committed to play for Randy Shannon’s Miami Hurricanes via a national letter of intent.

Rodgers is a three-start recruit according to Rivals. He goes 6-foot-2, 185 and has been clocked at 4.45 in the forty-yard dash. Rodgers was a cornerback at well-known Carroll High in Southlake, Texas.

He also possesses the length to play safety if the ‘Canes ultimately determine more help is needed there.
