Long thought to be earmarked for Ohio State, Seantrel Henderson, the No. 1 or No. 2 player in the country according to most of the major services, instead announced a few minutes ago that he will be joining Kiffin in his first season at USC.
If it's any consolation to OSU fans, though, Henderson said the Buckeyes, much like they did on the field last September, finished No. 2 to the Trojans.
Henderson, the top-ranked offensive lineman in the country regardless of the recruiting service, had narrowed his list of potential destinations down to six in recent weeks -- USC, OSU, Minnesota, Notre Dame, Miami and Florida.
In the past 48 hours, any lead the Buckeyes may have had for Henderson seemed to dissipate as Kiffin & Company came on strong at the end to land the mammoth tackle.
Have fun when the NCAA imposes sanctions on the NCAA program. Also, the football gods will ensure that Seantrel gets drafted by a very cold weather NFL team.
Sour grapses, Wolframpau. He is from a cold weather area. The if there were going to be sanctions of any severity, these recruits would not be coming to USC.
Everyone forgets that Reggie Bush and Co do not have to talk to the NCAA and when they did they probably gave them nothing. The violations are there, no doubt, but proving it?
All these big time recruits are interested in is the school with the program to get them to the riches of the promised land.......the NFL.
USC must have paid this fat tub of goo, alot of money...
Reggie might not have to talk to the NCAA, but there is a lawsuit pending by the guy that thought he was going to be his agent and Reggie and USC are not excused from that process.
buckeye044,
in case you missed it the NCAA has concluded their investigation and already submitted their report to USC and a meeting is scheduled to address sanctions later this month! So in short the Reggie Bush lawsuit is moot.
John Taylor,
Told you that your information that ND would finish 2nd to OSU was dead wrong! I wasn't sure whether in which order USC and OSU would finish but I knew ND was nowhere near his top!
Have fun - would have been nice to have you in a Buckeye uniform but I'm guessing we'll be okay the next few years without you! Hopefully your agent will be able to keep you out of the dirt and grime that seems to be bubbling to the top out there!
YES! thank you! this just makes my gophers look that much worse! i'm sure Brewster will still be extremely excited.
Dear USC:
please beat the gophers by atleast 80 points this fall when you make the trip to Minny. It would be hilarious

Hilarious.
Re: "if there were going to be sanctions of any severity, these recruits would not be coming to USC."
O.K., says who? Kiffin? Really, Kiffin is trustworthy? Henderson is smart to wait and see for himself. He still may not be a Trojan at the end of the day.
