In a day that didn’t start out so well for the Sooners, the afternoon opened with a huge commitment when linebacker Corey Nelson changed his commitment from Texas A&M to Oklahoma at the 11th hour.
Nelson was a three-time All-State player at Dallas Skyline High School, and does a good job helping Sooner fans forget they missed out on four-star linebacker V.J. Fehoko, the Hawaiian linebacker who picked Utah over the Sooners.
Oklahoma’s recruiting class was already an impressive top ten effort, and the addition of Nelson can only help.
