Last week, head coach Jimbo Fisher announced that starting quarterback Christian Ponder would participate in Florida State’s spring practice, albeit in a no-contact mode.
That, of course, means Ponder would, ya know, be throwing a football around with his surgically-repaired shoulder. Which he has already started to do as yet another sign that the potential Heisman contender will be 100 percent for the start of summer camp and the 2010 regular season.
According to Ponder’s Twitter account by way of the Orlando Sentinel, the QB has resumed throwing after undergoing surgery last November.
“Feb. 15 = 1st day back throwing the football!” the Twitter post read in part.
Oh, and Ponder spent a portion of Valentine’s Day watching Judge Joe Brown with three dudes. Yep, the awesomeness of Twitter never ceases to amaze me.
