Shoulder knocks The U's Forston out of spring practice

Last Wednesday, Miami announced that defensive lineman Marcus Forston would be one of three Hurricanes who would be limited in spring practice due to injury.

Six days later, head coach Randy Shannon announced that Forston will be one of nine ‘Canes who will not participate in spring practice at all.

Forston missed the final eight games of the 2009 season due to shoulder and ankle injuries, and took a redshirt for his sophomore season.

The injured shoulder is what will keep the lineman out of spring practice, which began Tuesday for the Hurricanes.
