For those of you thinking that the end of USC’s hearing in front of the NCAA might bring some closure — one way or the other — to the Seantrel Henderson “situation”, think again.
The father of one of the highest-rated high school players in the country tells the Orange County Register that there is no timetable on a decision for his son, the Minnesota offensive tackle rated by most of the major recruiting services as the No. 1 prospect for the Class of 2010.
Henderson verbally committed to the Trojans on signing day, but has thus far held off on signing a Letter of Intent until they get an inkling as to what sanctions may or may not be headed to USC by the NCAA. The father reiterated that the LOI has yet to be signed.
Sean Henderson also told the paper that, at this point in time, the pair are just gathering info.
Just curious, what is the record for most-drawn-out recruiting process by a blue chip recruit? Just sign the letter. No one believes that THEY’ll back away from LA.
This isn’t news….you don’t need to keep posting this over and over, let’s just wait until the sanctions come down.
I think this kids a joke!
Agreed. Writing the same article over and over is pointless. Just write one that says “Seantrel and his Dad are both douche bags.” we’ll all nod our heads in agreement then read something that we aren’t already totally aware of.
Hopefully, the family understands that there will be college football with or without Seantrel. The father could be too aggressive an turn off other coaches and players. He may not be as important as he thinks he his in the big picture of college football,,, the ultimate team sport!!!!
Why are people giving Henderson so much crap? It’s not like he’s doing anything unusual. Bryce Brown, and I believe David Oku as well, took much longer than this last year. Terrelle Pryor took far, far longer. It happens.
