Husky defensive end hit with suspension

Sophomore-to-be Andru Pulu has been suspended indefinitely by head coach Steve Sarkisian, Washington announced early this evening.

No specific reason — other than violating unspecified team rules — was given for the defensive end’s punishment, and no statement was attached to the press release.

The release did say that the school will have no further comment on the matter.

As a true freshman in 2009, Pulu played in all 12 games, recording two tackles and one sack.  Pulu also was a contributor on special teams.

Per the Seattle Times, Pulu was allegedly involved in an altercation at an off campus party on Saturday night.
Good move by Sark to set a precedent by resonding quickly.
