For the first time this offseason — unless you count a member of their 2010 recruiting class — South Carolina and head coach Steve Spurrier have been forced to deal with an off-the-field legal issue.
According to The State newspaper, quarterback Aramis Hillary was arrested early Thursday morning and charged underage drinking and “drunkeness [sic]“. As a result of the incident, and per school policy, Hillary will be suspended indefinitely for the alcohol charge.
Hillary was arrested along with his brother CoCo Hillary, who was charged with driving under the influence and violation of the ABC Act.
As noted by the paper, Hillary is one of a few players in the mix to be Stephen Garcia‘s backup.
Man, South Carolina QBs get crunk. It seems rare that QBs get in trouble in general, but happens constantly there.
We had Cock and Beaver within just a few stories of one another…….NICE!!
