Arizona State wasn’t the only team on the receiving end of some good news from the Pac-10 this evening.
Oregon State announced in a press release a short while ago that wide receiver Darrell Catchings has been granted a medical hardship season from the Pac-10 for his injury-plagued 2009 season.
Catchings will now have two years of eligibility remaining.
Last season, wrist and ankle injuries limited the receiver to just the first two games before being shelved for the year.
Catchings has started ten games in his Beaver career, and 42 receptions for 505 yards and a touchdown.
