Miss. St. lineman hit with pot charge

In what could only be described as a stunning turn of events, a Div. 1-A football player has been arrested for possessing pot.

(Gasp!)

According to the Starkville Daily News, and citing unnamed sources, Mississippi State’s Sean Ferguson was arrested Thursday night and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

In a statement, the school said that they “are aware of the incident and when all of the facts are determined, we will handle the situation appropriately.”

Ferguson, who does not hail from Oregon but rather Miami, Fla., played in all 12 games for the Bulldogs last season.

Wow, you mean players get into trouble in places besides Oregon? Imagine that. Head coach must not have control of his program. That’s the line you are supposed to use now, right?

Yeah at Miss ST. they get in trouble for pot. At Oregon it’s burglary, robbery, assault, not quite on the same level of crimes.

This same kid playing in Cali doesn’t even warrant a traffic stop for possessing Hippie Lettuce.
When will the rest of our country “grow” up and stop prosecuting pot smokers every where? The real criminals are the tobacco companies that package and sell government sanctioned death in every pack at every store in the country.
