Texas Tech-SMU opener moved

We interrupt our Election 2010 coverage — Slogan: A Vote For Kiffin Is A Vote For Really Bringing Sexy Back — to bring you a little tidbit on a scheduling change to open up the upcoming season.

According to a press release, Texas Tech and SMU have agreed to move their ’10 opener to Sunday, Sept. 5, to accommodate — you guessed it — ESPN.

The game was originally scheduled for the Saturday, Sept. 4.

“This move gives our program national exposure early in the season,” Red Raider athletic director Gerald Myers said in a statement. “It also gives us the opportunity to kick off coach (Tommy) Tuberville’s era in front of a national audience.”

Now, get back to your regularly scheduled voting, already in progress…

That’s so craig james can do the game, since these are the two programs he personally killed. Sorry his cry baby kid helped with the second one.

Oh boy! Instead of ignoring this game when it was originally scheduled, I will ignore it on primetime
