Apparently, there’s a rumor making the Internet rounds that field turf or something of its ilk is slated to be put in place at Alabama’s Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Fear not, real grass ‘Bama fans. It’s merely an ugly, vicious rumor concocted somewhere across the vast expanse of the web.
“Zero chance,” director of athletic facilities Thad Turnipseed* told the Tuscaloosa News said of a change in the Tide’s home turf. ”It hasn’t even been discussed.”
