You know how sometimes movies don’t live up to their pre-screening hype?
Let’s just say that the video of Urban Meyer going off on Jeremy Fowler of the Orlando Sentinel is the The Godfather: Part III of Coaches Gone Wild videos. Not bad or extremely disappointing, but it simply didn’t live up to the critics and their “buzz”.
Of course, I had visions of Urban rasslin’ Fowler to the practice field turf, putting his knee to the reporter’s throat, and then delivering his soliloquy through a gold-plated megaphone. While waving a big piece of raw meat in the air.
So, looking back on it, maybe I had my own personal bar set a wee bit too high.
