Dhani Jones 'not cool with' RichRod

And the hits just on coming for embattled — is it OK to call him embattle again?  What about beleaguered? — Michigan head coach Rich Rodriguez.

On the same day ESPN reported NCAA officials had recently questioned West Virginia regarding possible rule violations during his time in Morgantown, Rodriguez is on the receiving end of yet another public tongue-lashing from a former member of the UM football program.

Speaking on Jim Rome is Burning by way of AOL Fanhouse, Dhani Jones made it clear yet again that he’s not a fan of the current head coach of his alma mater.

“I’m not cool with him,” Jones, a member of UM’s 1997 national title team, said of Rodriguez. “I’m at my wits end right now. I mean, you can’t come in and explain that you’re going to do all this, and then your first year? Terrible. Second year? Alright — but then terrible. You have to be able to change something if you’re really going to make a statement. You have to do it within the first two years, and this is his third.”

At 8-16 overall and, perhaps most importantly, an abysmal 3-13 in Big Ten play, there’s no doubt that Rodriguez is on the hottest of hot seats heading into the 2010.  It doesn’t help his cause in the least to have former players lashing out against the coach publicly and openly questioning whether or not he’s the right man for the job.

Then again… Hillbilly Karma, she’s a bitch.  And so are her paybacks.

Hillbilly and Karma…..not two things you see together very often.

And to think you kicked Lloyd Carr to the curb for this tool. Wow.

Being an O.S.U. fan, I love the beatdowns that the Buckeyes have given to little blue….but, I would like to see a rivalry once again. Richrod is not the answer!!

Zip it, Dhani. If I want football analysis from guys that wear bow ties, I’ll ask George Will first. I happen to think DickRod is doing a phenomenal job.

DickRod = Michigan’s John Cooper. That karma generated during those 13 long Cooper years by Wolfie fans and the way you piled on the Buckeyes is biting back hard lately. Not to mention how the college treated their former coach on his way out of town.
Were Lloyd Carr still coaching the Wolfies – they would not be 8-16 over all and especially 3-16 in the Big Ten and former players would still be in the school fold instead of bad mouthing the program in the press.
DickRod has run this once great program straight into the ground since he slinked out of WVA and sold his soul for Michigan millions. How will they be able to fill all of those new seats at the Big House if this ID-10-t keeps on losing?

You can tell he wasn’t ready for the big time program
His quirky offense works well at WVU but was not going to translate to much against good teams every week

RichRod figured out a way to keep Michigan and West Virginia from getting into any trouble with the NCAA, regardless of how serious the sanctions.
Both schools are changing their names to USC.
