Pryor solid as Buckeyes close their spring book

Exactly a week after struggling in a somewhat meaningless scrimmage, Terrelle Pryor put together a solid performance in Ohio State’s somewhat meaningless spring game that brought an end to the Buckeyes’ spring sessions.

The quarterback completed 8-of-12 passes for 108 yards and a touchdown in limited action this afternoon, a far cry from 5-for-15, 45-yard performance last Saturday.

Perhaps the best part of the day for the 65,000-plus in attendance? Pryor, who’ll likely appear on every preseason Heisman watch list, did nothing to aggravate his surgically-repaired knee.

As for the game itself, the Gray team topped the Scarlet team thanks to a Kenny Guiton-to-Taurian Washington 45-yard touchdown connection with 55 seconds left in the game.
