One sexy step closer: Kiffin's tourney run marches on

(And, no, I really don’t care if you feel like this is old, tired or played out.  Lane Kiffin being the only male in a field of 64 fighting for a title that contains the word “sexiest” in it will never cease to be funny.  Ever.)

What was once thought to be a pipe dream has just today come a step closer to becoming reality.

Lane Kiffin has officially survived a tough second-round match-up with racing hottie Danica Patrick and moved on to the Sassy Sixteen in‘s Kiffin-Patrick Final.PNG

There’s been no reaction to this development on the Twitter pages of either Kiffin or Patrick.

Kiffin will now face soccer player Heather Mitts, who is perhaps — because soccer sucks — most famous for her relationship with St. Louis Rams quarterback A.J. Feeley.

The winner of the Kiffin-Mitts match-up will take on the Stacy KieblerTanith Belbin survivor in the Elite Eight, but lets not get ahead of ourselves as there’s a lot of work to do in this round.

So, from everyone here at CFT, congratulations to Coach Kiffin on a stirring tourney run, and let’s keep this train oozing with raw feminine sexuality rolling right into the championship round.

This was funny several weeks ago but it is starting to get old.
If you are a fan of Kiffin and USC you should vote for him, if you dislike him you should vote against him because “any publicity is good publicity”

Soccer only sucks to you because you are uneducated and ignorant about the game.

There is no way that winning Sexiest Woman Alive is “good publicity” for Lane Kiffin. He is clearly embarrased by it, as evidenced by his early twitter posts on the topic. So vote for the prick.
And yes, the joke has worn thin…until Lane threatens to win it. Then it becomes even funnier. I have to wonder if Esquire will reach a point where they don’t let him advance because their “joke” candidate is ruining the actual contest.

this is college football talk worthy? Garbage.

it’s lame for now, but like he said, it’d be hysterical if he wins the thing. so with that in mind, every Pac10/ SEC/ Raider Kiffin-hater, should continue to vote.

Help me understand how it is that of all the people Esquire could have chosen they selected Kiffn? It’s bizarre or its planned

I really have no idea. I figure someone high up at Esquire must be a big Vol fan or something. I find it completely bizarre myself.
But that fact that Lane practically begged Natalie Gulbis to beat him makes me pretty confident that he’s not enthused by his victories. Which makes me want him to keep winning. I’m not a spurned Vol fan, but I do think he deserves to take a LOT of crap.

    The joke is NOT old.
Lane Kiffin is a, as Snoop Dogg would say, Biaatch!
It is time for Lane to take the hate like a man. Ha ha ha ha ha!

What a coincidence, I’ve *actually* begged Natalie Gulbis to beat me. So far, she hasn’t taken me up on the offer, but if she ever wants to work out some aggression, I’m here for her.

Some of you need to lighten up. What else is there to talk about in college football right now? And we’ve never had a more awesome punching bag than Lane Kiffin. If Esquire lets him advance as far as the voting will take him, I’ll buy a subscription.
