A little more than two weeks after word first leaked that Logan Gray was considering a transfer from Georgia, the quarterback has finally made a decision as to his collegiate football future.

And it’s a good one as far as Georgia’s QB depth is concerned.

According to a release issued by the school, Gray has decided to remain at the school as a member of the football program.

“I have decided to stay at the University of Georgia because Itruly do love being a Georgia Bulldog,” said Gray in a statement. “I want to be a part ofthis team getting back to the SEC Championship game and winning it. I¹malso looking forward to getting some work at receiver and am going to workhard to make the best out of my opportunity at this position as well. Iappreciate Coach (Mark) Richt¹s patience while I made this decision and hishelpful advice. Now, I want to put all of this behind me and focus ongetting to work on preparations for next season at UGA.”

“I’m extremely pleased that Logan has decided to remain a Bulldog,” said head coach Mark Richt. “He¹s an outstanding player and a great person as well. We¹re fortunate to have him and he¹ll be an important part of our team over thenext two years.”
