Trojans lose another player to transfer

For the third time since the NCAA slapped the football program with sanctions, a player is transferring from USC, the Los Angeles Times is reporting.

Redshirt freshman defensive back Byron Moore has decided to move on to a junior college, where he will spend a year before transferring to another school.

Moore’s father told the Times that his son “wants a fresh start”, before adding that the “USC coaches and staff were great.”

Much like was the case with defensive end Malik Jackson, who transferred from USC to Tennessee recently, Byron Moore Sr. said his son is not leaving the program because of the sanctions.
