Kilgore to start over money-grabbing Dasher for MTSU

With starting quarterback Dwight Dasher suspended for the first few games of the season, coach Rick Stockstill will start sophomore Logan Kilgore against Minnesota in the Blue Raiders’ season opener.

Kilgore is a transfer from Bakersfield College in California and signed mid-term for Middle Tennessee. As a freshman, Kilgore threw for over 2,500 yards and 22 touchdowns.

Dasher has been suspended for taking a $1,500 loan from 80-year-old Oliver Donnell and stealing checks from offensive lineman Colin Boss to repay the loan. No official timetable has been set for Dasher’s return.

Why let somebody who would steal from a teammate return to the team? I sure wouldn’t want my locker to be next to his.
