As we are about to embark on the 2010 regular season and the requisite cupcakes that litter the early-season schedules of many of the top programs, it’s quite appropriate that Florida State has wrapped up their 2011 schedule with dessert.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, and citing a university source, the Seminoles will play Louisiana-Monroe of the Sun Belt conference next year as part of their non-conference schedule. Given their out-of-conference slate for 2011, you can hardly blame the ‘Noles for the creampuff filler.
Outside of the ACC, FSU also has games scheduled against national powerhouses Florida and Oklahoma; Charleston Southern is on the ’11 schedule as well.
