Nathan Williams expected to play for THE OSU against THE U

Junior defensive end Nathan Williams will play against Miami in Ohio State’s Week Two showdown in the ‘Shoe, this according to tOSU head coach Jim Tressel. Williams missed a good portion of preseason camp due to a sprained knee.

“He’ll be ready to go [for the game],” Tressel said, “but the question is what type of football shape he’ll be in because he missed significant time in the preseason.”

Williams practiced with the team Sunday.

The Ohio native will likely play a limited role against the Hurricanes while Solomon Thomas, who started last Thursday’s game against Marshall, will continue to play alongside Williams.
