Jay Paterno: ‘Bolden could play against Michigan’

After suffering what was described as concussion-like symptoms in week eight’s 33-21 victory over Minnesota, Penn State quarterbacks coach Jay Paterno says Robert Bolden could play next week against Michigan.

“He looks pretty good to me, so we’ll see,” Paterno said after the game. “Pretty coherent, so it’s up to the doctors.”

After suffering the hit, Bolden reportedly experienced memory loss Joe Paterno said in his post-game press conference.

No details have been released as to Bolden’s status, nor is it known if Matt McGloin or Kevin Newsome will start against the Wolverines provided Bolden can’t play.
