Miami fourth-stringer QB practices with starters

Miami fourth-string quarterback Stephen Morris practiced with the Hurricane’s top eleven Monday and will likely continue to practice with the first string while Jacory Harris recovers from a concussion suffered in Miami’s 24-19 loss to Virginia.

Morris threw three fourth quarter touchdowns in the loss and could be the starter for Miami in week ten against Maryland. Harris has not been cleared to practice by team medical staff and backup A.J. Highsmith is continuing to deal with his own set of injuries, leaving Spencer Whipple and Morris as the only two healthy quarterbacks on the roster.
