There you have it. As far as the unbeatens go, we’re officially at three teams with no blemishes on the right side of the won/loss ledger after 14 weekends of football.
TCU wrapped up their perfect mark the last weekend of November. Oregon romped past in-state rival Oregon State to cap off a 12-0 season, while Auburn romped & rolled through South Carolina to put the finishing touches on a 13-0 “start” to the 2010 season.
While there’s little doubt that the latter two teams will meet in the BcS title game in January, which one is the best team in the country? Or are neither and you’d rather toss your vote the Horned Frogs’ way?
Regardless, utilize your constitutional right and vote below. Trust me, it’ll be more than worth the effort, what with all the civic pride you’ll feel after pulling the cyber lever.
Pretty easy call, right now Auburn is number 1 by a large margin. I don’t see Oregon being able to stop Cam unless he gets injured.
Cam may get thrown in jail for impersonating a college student. I mean after all isn’t he nothing but a free agent?
Very easy call, OREGON has walked all over there competition this year ( stanford, arizona) Auburn has squeaked by there competition. DUCKS in a walk!!!!
How may teams are going bowling out of the Puke 10? Auburn will crush the Ducks!!!!
Auburn is clearly number 1, Stanford and Arizona, that’s all you got? try Alabama, SC x 2, LSU, Arkansas, ETC. Oregon will get stomped
Nevada
Easy choice. Auburn without a doubt. Auburn beat 6 AP top 25 ranked teams (counting SC twice since they were ranked both times) and Oregon beat 3. Auburn’s SOS is rated 15th and Oregon’s is 86 (according to realtimerpi.com). Oregon should still have to play another game to finish their regular season. The Pac-10 not having a championship game is a joke.
War Eagle!
Who’s number one?
Well, JT, since you’re asking me to rank salaried teams, I’ll have to wait until the outcome of the Sunday and Monday night games.
And the haters start to come out of the woodwork……
another “passionate defense”?
We still need a playoff.
Can someone please explain to me how TCU is number 3? Have they won against a top 10 team this year? Have they won against a top 20 team this year? How is this even possible?
Sorry, Utah doesn’t even count as a top 10 team.
THE OREGON DUCKS ARE CHANGING THE WAY COLLEGE OFFENSIVE FOOTBALL, WILL BE PLAYED. SPEED KILLS AND OREGON HAS PROVED IT/ ASK ANY TEAM THEY PLAYED EXCEPT CAL AND THE DEFENSE STOPPED BY TO SAY HI AND WIN ON CALS TURF.CHIP KELLY HAS BASSICALLY ESTABLISHED A DIFFERENT WAY TO PLAY OFFENCE” ( BILL WALSH)-ITS ALREADY BEING COPYIED BY MANY TEAMS, NEWTON IS GREAT BUT THE DUCKS ARE A GREAT FREAK SCORING MACHINE–OREGON BY 17— WHAT THE BEST THING IS FINALLY AFTER MANY YEARS THE TWO VERY BEST TEAMS ARE GOING AFTER COLLEGE FOOTBALLS MOST COVETED PRIZE–CANNOT WAIT— SINCERLY PHIL WEIRICK—-
