Ragin’ Cajuns to make it official will Hudspeth

Mark Hudspeth

Louisiana-Lafayette had refused to confirm reports that Mark Hudspeth had been hired to be their next head coach.

Fortunately for all involved, that all changed Sunday night.

According to a press release issued by the school, the Ragin’ Cajuns will introduce the Mississippi State assistant as their 25th head coach at an 11 a.m. ET press conference Monday.

Hudspeth will replace Rickey Bustle, who was fired as head coach last month.

Hudspeth has spent the past two seasons on Dan Mullen‘s Bulldog coaching staff.  Prior to that, he spent seven seasons as the head coach at Div. II North Alabama.
