OK, after the injury to Stephen Morris, it wasn’t much of a mystery as to who would start at quarterback for Miami in their bowl game against Notre Dame.
Today, however, The U’s interim head coach removed any and all doubt.
At a press conference Thursday, Jeff Stoutland announced that Jacory Harris will start at quarterback in the Sun Bowl, saying that the junior “puts us in the best position to win.”
Morris, who started the last four games of the regular season, suffered an ankle injury earlier in the week, although the signs pre-injury were pointing in Harris’ general direction given the amount of reps he was taking with the first-team offense.
The good news for Morris is that the true freshman will be available as the backup for the game.
Take ND in this one, he’s just a black version of Kosar, and Testaverde, throws to the wrong hat all the time.
You might want to remove Kosar your Jacory equation. Bernie was one of the least picked QBs of all-time.
Way to keep your “hose” in line, John
Ah yeah, the last time I checked 40 td’s to 29 pick’s is not really that good. I didn’t say yards, or wins. I said picks. Who couldn’t have played QB on that team with those backs and wide outs?
But, you know who was good and covered the number every week MAJOR APPLEWHITE, he was great.
And I got your hose Drunkenmiller another bum QB.
