TCU was one of three unbeaten teams in the country in 2010, but were denied a shot at a national title because, well, the system currently in place to decide a national champion blows mightily.
Be that as it may, TCU entered the Rose Bowl as a slight favorites against No. 4 Wisconsin and came away with arguably the most impressive win of the 2010-2011 bowl season considering the circumstances. Sure, the Big Ten has suffered from an abysmal day in the won/loss ledger, but it shouldn’t matter.
The Horned Frogs proved they belonged on the same field as one of the hottest teams in the country. Did they prove they should’ve gotten a shot at the BcS crystal as well?
