Georgia Tech takes another early-entry hit

For the second time this week, Georgia Tech has lost a starter to early entry into the NFL.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, safety Jerrard Tarrant has decided to leave the Yellow Jackets and make himself available for the April draft.

Tarrant redshirted in 2007, then was suspended for the entire 2008 season after being charged with rape. After the charges were dropped, the defensive back was reinstated and started 18 games the past two seasons.

Teammate Nick Claytor, an offensive lineman, decided earlier in the week to declare for the draft.
