Auburn to be victimized by Seantrel v2.0?

Last year at this time, Seantrel Henderson announced on national television that he would be attending USC. Almost immediately, the offensive lineman started having second thoughts and did not sign his Letter of Intent, setting off a circus that ultimately ended with the lineman -- after signing his USC LOI -- transferring to Miami.

Fast-forward a year, and highly-rated offensive lineman Cyrus Kouandjio announced on national television that he had chosen Auburn over Alabama. And, based on the setup, you know where this is headed, right?

According to multiple reports, Kouandjio is having second thoughts and has yet to sign his Letter of Intent and fax it to Auburn. Reportedly, Kouandjio will not sign his LOI today as he confers with his family and high school coaches over the apparently conflicted feelings he’s having with his decision.

And, until he faxes that LOI to someone, no one at either school can comment publicly on the situation.

It was believed that the fact that his brother currently plays for Alabama gave the Tide the inside track, but there’s also a school of thought that he may very well be considering New Mexico and that is the reason for his hesitation.

This could be the second time Alabama benefits from a 2011 flip at Auburn’s expense; linebacker Brent Calloway flipped his recent commitment from the Tigers to an LOI for the Tide. That, of course, came after Calloway had flipped a long-standing verbal from the latter to the former.
