Utes LB popped on drunk-driving charge

After a relatively quiet few days on the arrest front, we have yet another reason to reset the “Days Without an Arrest” meter back to double zeros.

According to the Deseret News, Utah linebacker Timote Nai Fotu was arrested Sunday morning and booked on a charge of driving under the influence.

Nai Fotu was pulled over by the Utah State Patrol at 10 a.m. local time for allegedly speeding. Again, he was pulled over at 10 o’ clock in the morning and hit with a drunk-driving charge.

The sophomore, who missed all of the 2010 season due to a torn ACL suffered in spring practice last march, is expected to challenge for a starting job this spring.
