No, seriously. The little dude is eight years of age.
UConn’s Johnny McEntee began the mini-craze of quarterback trick-shot videos earlier this month, and was followed a couple of weeks later by Monmouth College’s Alex Tanney.
Thanks to a couple of alert readers, we have been made aware of a “trick-shot” video from a kid who’s biggest decision thus far in his young life has been whether to wear Sponge Bob or Diego unmentionables. Eight-year-old Daron Bryden‘s YouTube video has gone viral and features three throws that are more in the “awww, look at how cute” vein than possessing any sort of “wow!” factor. Then again, it’s an eight-year-old freaking kid we’re talking about here.
And, to answer the question of those who are wondering, no, we don’t know if Lane Kiffin has offered the kid yet.
Anyway, here’s the short video clip. Enjoy.
What’s the over/under on the number of episodes until Tosh.0 has another “nanananabooboo, stick your head in doodoo” segment where Tosh “enters the QB trick-shot fray”?
I wonder if Kiffin has offered this kid a scholie yet?
What’s interesting about this video isn’t the kid’s abilities as much as the fact he’s 8 and he has a trainer. That’s messed up.
Why on earth would I want to read an 8 year olds blog, or follow him on twitter?
@spread, I have to agree w/ you there. I guess they didnt hear about Marinovich.
Here’s betting Nick Saban is taking notes
