Dislocated elbow likely costs Mizzou LB rest of spring practice

Last year, Donovan Bonner saw his entire 2010 season ripped away thanks to a knee injury.

As he continues recovering from that injury and the subsequent surgery, the Missouri linebacker has likely seen his availability for the remainder of the spring sessions fall by the wayside as well.

According to the Columbia Daily Tribune, Bonner suffered a dislocated elbow during Tuesday’s practice session. The paper writes that the injury that will most likely sideline him through the final 10 spring practices.

There’s no word yet on if surgery will be necessary or if the injury will have an impact for the start of summer camp.

Bonner, a redshirt sophomore, is listed as the No. 1 strongside linebacker on Mizzou’s spring depth chart. As a true freshman in 2009, Bonner played in 12 games, mainly on special teams.
