the players get “gifts”, so what.
Everybody knows,(or should know) this goes on all the time. Boosters pay, “friends of the program” pay, middle men pay. The REAL story is the nimwits denying up a storm. They should know that making such a fuss just brings closer scrutiny. Just say no comment, or better yet, use the always tried and true “I don’t recall” line.
SEC coaches know kids are getting cash and freebies, they just make sure nobody can tie them to anything

Auburn has had as much trouble with players named Ramsey as we have had with coaches named Mike. Let both names be stricken from books, and future recruits.

One has to wonder if he is announcing this to the Bama paper a week in advance in hopes of collecting big $$$$ to NOT name names………
