Miami (OH) running back leaves team

Time for your once-a-day breather from everything Ohio State/Terrelle Pryor.

There’s news of a rather significant loss for all (two) (three) Miami (OH) fans who read CFT, as running back Tracy Woods has left the team.

“Miami University Head Football Coach Don Treadwell announced today that running back Tracy Woods was officially released from the Miami University Football Team,” a lengthy, self-indulgent e-mail release stated.

Miami officials gave no reason for Woods’ departure. Woods, who ran for 376 yards and a touchdown, and caught 18 passes for 151 yards last season, was expected to be the starting running back for the RedHawks this season.
