Boom, unlike Urban, seems to not have a problem with cutting or forcing out problem children, regardless of the talent level.

Just based on my own personal experience, “transients” usually feel at home in Berkeley. Mr. Martin is right to leave, no distractions in Gainesville.

That is why winning the recruiting battle on Signing Day is so meaningless. You still have to get them in school, keep them in school, and get them to play to their potential…..and of course, keep them out of jail.

It sounds like young Mr. Martin has realized that college football is hard work and that he may have underestimated his demons. ND didn’t cry a lot after his de-commit. He was unsteady on what he was doing from the day he gave his verbal.

How can any respectful university football program think about taking this unreliable idiot. The five stars he boasts from ‘high school’ are the ones flying in a little circle around his woozy and confused head. Let him go back home because he’s just another 2011 college prima donna gone wayside….distractions….huh?…..both he and Pryor ought to take ‘dancing lessons’ together as we will likely never really know if either of them can really play college (or any kind of) football. You are ‘no stars’ fellas! What a waste of some good scholarships that could have gone to some far more deserving, responsible and level-headed student athletes.
