I miss him, too. Don’t know if you guys watch the TV show Friday Night Lights, but he did an unbilled cameo right after his firing. The local Texas high school coach was at a gas station after a really rough day, and suddenly Leach was at the next pump telling him he’d lost his inner pirate and explaining that he needed to swing his sword. I was yelling, “That’s Mike Leach!!” Kyle Chandler’s expressions as the high school coach listening to all this made the scene. It was hysterical.

Didn’t know he had a law degree–wow! Would like to see him in the SEC. Now that Kiffin and Tubby are gone, our coaches aren’t as entertaining

Too bad noone cares because you are in a league where if you aren’t utexa$ or uokla(in a little brother kinda way – sorry the truth hurts uokla) you don’t matter. You are all texas’ heram and that makes you bitches. Why don’t one of you (texa&m it’s you or nobody) grow a pair and leave this lopsided craptastic mess of a conference to die like it needs to. You’re like teenage girls with no self esteem. Or just keep doing as Big Mack tells you. Who cares.

For me the best part of Mike Leech is the never quit attitude and his fat little girlfriend comment was way better than Mike Gundy’s I’m a man I’m 40 line. I really wish someone would pick him up. There are some many things to like about the guy he has a law degree, never played college ball, has hundreds of books about Native American Culture and he’s a Pirate. Come On UCLA, Washington State, most Big East team you could use a guy like him.

Hilarious…I miss having Leach around. TTU screwed up big time by firing him.

It will be interesting to see if this rehabs his reputation or not.

As for Adam James, he is and likely will always be Daddy’s little loser. He really tore it up in 2010…two catches!!!!

Leach was always a loose cannon. But Tech screwed up big time. Pirates, fat little girlfriends are just a part of Leach’s persona. A head football coach needs to keep his mouth shut and coach football. And not just offensive football. A coach can never be really successful without a little defense.

Good luck to Leach ever being a head coach at the college level due mainly to his “persona”.
