Late last week, Arkansas head coach Bobby Petrino was forced to dismiss a member of his football family after Anthony Oden was arrested on his second drunk-driving charge in just a little over the year.
Now, thanks to an incident very early Monday morning, Petrino has been forced to deal with a similar issue involving a member of his family.
According to the Associated Press, Dominic Petrino was arrested shortly after midnight today and hit with multiple drug and alcohol charges. The 23-year-old coach’s son was charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, illegal possession of prescription drugs and possession of paraphernalia following a traffic stop in Huntingburg, Indiana.
A blood test revealed the presence of marijuana and prescription opiates in the younger Petrino’s system.
The arrested Petrino transferred to Arkansas from Arkansas Tech in the spring of 2009, and spent at least the 2009 season as a backup to the backup’s backup. The 5-11, 190-pound quarterback was listed on Arkansas’ 2010 spring roster, although we could find no mention of him on that season’s regular season roster.
cant say i havent had a few nights like that. when your the backup’s backup what else are you suppose to do besides rip some nugs with some pills. especially when your as shrimpy as he is and probably get wrecked on a daily basis. this mixture looks to be the combination bobby was on for his entire falcons coaching career he must have learned from the master.
on a side note, he appears to be in ok shape in his picture, hopefully the officers allowed him to munch a few more of the pk’s and finish off his bowl before heading to the station.
he had weed????? OMG!!!

Judging by the list of things on this kid, weed was the least of his issues.
Anyway, must feel a little sorry for this kid. His father is a coach of the football team and the best that he gets is the back to the back to the back-up. Self-esteem must be extremely low by this time. Pops need to have a serious talk with his son.
