Let him play why does NCAA have hate on Auburn so much? Then other schools will get pick there punishment for huge money changing hand infractions. FBI said they couldn’t prove any money change hands. I never seen such a circus show. Let the players on feild show their greatness in stats not on new news. I want see him play I want every team have their stars play as long as they are not breaking real laws! If ncaa let few the billions go and pay these players 100,000 for playing and 50,000 per bowl game and 100,000 for NC game and 150,000 if the win it all we never have any troubles!

This rule has been around as long as college football and have no idea why Auburn or the kid thought he would be successful with a waiver request. The rules are very clear cut, not ambiguous at all in this type of transfer. The only way you get a waiver is for extenuating personal circumstances like the serious illness or death of a family member and you want to play closer to home. Originally this kid said he was leaving because he was homesick, obviously not the case. It is his business why he left but I don’t think special accomodations should be made for him.

Don’t know that Chizik encounter changed the end result. After all, rules are rules, right NCAA. Got to make sure all 10,000,000,000 (probably a low side estimate) rules are followed.

I think it is such crap that a kid who has never played a down of college football has to sit out a year just because the NCAA is mad at Auburn for embarrassing them. Good call Gene to rile the NCAA’s feather’s before this verdict. haha
