The spate of arrests ahead of the start of summer camps continues unabated Monday afternoon, with word surfacing that a member of the Iowa State football program recently
According to the Des Moines Register, ISU defensive back Earl Brooks was arrested early Sunday morning and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated. And the reason Brooks was pulled over in the first place? He was observed driving the wrong way down a one-way street at 2:54 a.m. local time by university police officers.
The school has yet to comment on the legal situation facing the fifth-year senior.
Brooks played in all 13 games in 2010, and was listed as the No. 2 strong safety on the Cyclones’ most recent depth chart.
