It’s previously been reported — but never confirmed by the school — that Seantrel Henderson will be suspended for Miami’s season opener.
There’s another report that’s surfaced, however, that could make a one-game suspension the least of the touted offensive lineman’s worries.
According to Steve Gorten of the Sun-Sentinel, Henderson will undergo back surgery Aug. 8 to alleviate issues that have lingered since the spring. Gorten reports that it’s unclear when Henderson will be able to return.
Head coach Al Golden stated last week that Henderson could miss the first 7-10 days of summer camp that will begin a day before the surgery’s scheduled. It’s uncertain whether Golden’s initial timeline factored in the surgical procedure.
After starting the last nine games at right tackle during his freshman season last year, Henderson exited the spring as the No. 2 left tackle.

Awesome writing skills Mr Taylor.
I’m starting to be glad my favorite school didn’t receive his letter of intent.
Maybe they can flip him over and take off 5o lbs. of fat.
