Tough luck: Colorado loses another CB to injury


Already dealing with the loss of cornerback Jered Bell to a torn ACL, Colorado will now have to proceed through fall camp with yet another hit to its secondary depth.

According to a tweet from Buffs beat writer Adam Munsterteiger of, freshman cornerback Sherrard Harrington will be out 4-6 weeks with a hip injury and is expected to redshirt the 2011 season. No details about how Harrington suffered the injury were provided.

Harrington was a three-star athlete from Washington D.C.’s H.D. Woodson High School.
