Mizzou says ‘no, no,no’ to SEC rumors

Yeah, I know. I’m growing weary of it as well. But, such is the nature of this Internet beast we feed, so here we are.

The news regarding the first two schools are not at all shocking as both Florida State and Clemson have been mentioned over the past 24 hours or so. Gabe DeArmond of PowerMizzou.com buttressed that stance, with Alden telling him that the school hasn’t “been in discussions with anybody.”

There is one bit of confirmed news regarding Mizzou taking place today, although it involves their conference: a previously unscheduled conference call between Big 12 athletic directors -- we’re assuming A&M won’t get the call-in number or the password -- and commissioner Dan Beebe will take place at 3 p.m. ET Saturday afternoon. Gee, I wonder what they’ll be discussing...
