Oregon loses a DB to transfer

Just two days after it was announced that Oregon would be losing highly touted, and highly controversial, running back Lache Seastrunk to transfer, the Ducks are now losing another player on the opposite side of the ball.

Rob Moseley of the Eugene Register-Guard writes today that junior defensive back Scott Grady has been granted his release of scholarship and will look to transfer. Seeing as Grady has already used a redshirt for the 2008 season, it’s likely he will transfer down a level where he will be eligible to play immediately.

No possible destinations have been identified yet.

Like Seastrunk, Grady was used sparingly in his two years on the field, being mostly utilized on special teams and as a backup defensive back. In 2010, Grady recorded 13 total tackles and a kick return for 23 yards.
