pb420: You are welcome. We suspected that may have been the case or something similar because we had not heard that he would be redshirted.

Good wishes for the players for the remainder of the season. Apart from serious divine intervention we feel that may not happen, because SEC games are battles. With the speed and strength of players nowadays, injuries seem to happen more often. Sports medicine has made great advances and is most essential in SEC football.

With the SEC in-conference schedules beginning in earnest for all teams, the intensity of play (hopefully clean play) will increase as we press toward a new SEC champion and BCS National Champion.

Southernpatriots and Ben, thanks for the answers, as that was what I was afraid of. Being a UF alum, totally respect the threat that Hunter posed, even if he was in for a short time unfortunately. I also have tremendous admiration for Coach Dooley, and wish he and the Volunteers good luck moving forward, and I cant wait for the UF-UT rivalry to strengthen even more! For that matter, wishing everyone in the CFB world and their teams little to no injuries throughout the rest of the season!

Truly a shame, as this guy has true potential to be a dynamic receiver. Wish him a full and speedy recovery. Not really sure of the rules, but is it too late in the season for him to be granted a medical redshirt?

We saw the injury happen to Justin and winced, pretty much knowing that it was a serious injury. We did not know how the leg/knee could be bent at such an angle without needing repair. We wish Justin a good surgery and therapy. May he come out of surgery completely restored. May he come out of therapy stronger and healthier than he was before.
