Jerry Kill expected to be on sidelines for game against Michigan

Minnesota Coach

Minnesota coach Jerry Kill was hoping to be on the sidelines for today’s game against No. 19 Michigan — kind of unbelievable when you consider that, for the second week in a row, Kill was hospitalized for seizures.

Turns out, Kill is going to get his wish.  Michael Rothstein of WolverineNation reports by way of a Minnesota spokesperson that Kill is expected to coach from the field today.

“He’s doing fine,” UM spokesperson Garry Bowman said.

Kill was released from the hospital Wednesday.

A little less certain is whether Gophers quarterback MarQueis Gray will play against the Wolverines. Gray has been dealing with a foot injury, but early reports state he was on the field this morning throwing. He is considered a game-time decision.
