Auburn’s leading receiver to be a game-time decision

Emory Blake, Chuck Jacobs

After missing last week’s loss due to injury, Emory Blake’s status for Auburn’s game against Florida remains very much up in the air.

Blake suffered an ankle injury in a win against South Carolina a couple of weekends ago, and head coach Gene Chizik didn’t appear to be either optimistic or pessimistic as to Blake’s availability for the Gators Saturday.

“It’s really going to be a game-time decision,” Chizik said. “We’re going to continue to work with him . We’re going to continue to rehab  him and get him treatment and do all the things we have to do. I just don’t know where we’re at.”

Despite missing a game, Blake still leads the Tigers in receptions (19), receiving yards (333) and touchdowns (four).
