That uncertainty over the status of Penn State wide receiver Derek Moye?
It’s been resolved, but not in a positive way for the Nittany Lions.
The school announced Thursday afternoon that Moye will miss the next two games with a foot injury. The release states that Moye broke the fifth metatarsal bone in his left foot Tuesday evening when he slipped on stairs in his apartment after dinner.
No surgery will be required, and he could return in time for the Oct. 29 game against Illinois.
Through six games, Moye leads the Nittany Lions in receptions (28), receiving yards (485) and receiving touchdowns (three).
