Robert Woods a game-time decision for Trojans

Very limited in practice throughout the week, Robert Woods’ availability for USC in tonight’s Pac-12 matchup with Stanford likely won’t be known for a few more hours.

Speaking on ESPN’s GameDay show this morning, head coach Lane Kiffin said the All-American wide receiver will be a game-time decision for the Trojans vs. No. 4 Stanford. Woods has a lingering ankle issue that limited him to basically one day’s worth of practice this week, Kiffin said.

In the Trojans’ final practice of the week Thursday, Woods was extremely limited, with Kiffin saying “he barely did anything”. That development came a day after some optimism was brewing regarding Woods’ status.

Woods, a sophomore, is currently second in the nation in both receptions (10.3) and receiving yards per game (128.9).
